Review on πŸͺ‘ Natural Fabric Swivel Chair with Loose Cover by Christopher Knight Home: Cecilia by Richard Singleton

Wow! Excellent little chair

I bought this chair for a bedroom makeover in my house. I liked the neutral color and the fact that the entire cover is washable. I am very happy. The rotation works very well and the chair feels sturdy and very well put together. The linen color is really elegant and the material looks beautiful. Haven't tried washing it yet so will update if it gets a mess if I do. There are also some thoughtful touches: the pillow, for example, has its own cover and Velcro at the bottom to keep it in place. The swivel is also durable and comfortable. Finally, and perhaps best of all, installation/configuration takes about two minutes. It says it takes two people, but you can probably handle one. Parts are VERY light. I MYSELF carried the swivel and seat up a flight of stairs on two separate trips. This means it's a great addition to a soft chair if you live alone. I can only think of two disadvantages. First the skirt at the bottom of the lid is trimmed down by about half an inch, which means a couple of iron legs/swivels sticking out at the bottom. This is definitely an oversight and if you're looking for something overly formal, stay away. Another thing to note and not really a negative is that this chair is probably perfect for petite to medium sized people. It has a low form factor and a short backrest, and while the seat is comfortable and wide enough for me, it won't accommodate a particularly tall person. If I want to sit in it for a long time, I put a pillow in the back for support. This is easy to do as the seat is quite deep. Overall I am very happy with this purchase. It was exactly what I was looking for, and maybe even a step up.
