Review on DIY Sliding Barn Wood Door Kit - Pre-Drilled And Ready To Assemble - Natural Solid Spruce Wood - Interior Single Door - Fit 4FT Rail by Justin Gerrero

Revainrating 3 out of 5

I loved and hated some things about this experience

Originally I went to Home Depot and found out the wait on a door about $160 similar would be a whole month, husband and I decided against the Home Depot door. We saw the prime and the estimated ship date on this amazon door and thought "great! We are in a hurry to sell our house” well. I know this is on behalf of the shipment side, but it got here about a week and a half later than it was originally supposed to arrive and it was not on back order. When it arrived this morning, excited I ran out of my door and shrugged it off when It came in a long heavy box that was definitely 84” long, but not 30” wide. I got a little too excited when I ordered and didn’t see it had to be assembled 😂 so just be aware. it’s not assembled! I only look at reviews so it clearly states it in product description. My bad.As far as assembly goes, it was VERY easy for me. Then again I have been flipping our home and I feel confident with a drill. The instructions were easy to understand. Never a moment I was confused by them. Very simple too.I did notice something that a lot of other people have noticed, is some of the boards are warped. The last diagonal slats were very warped. Screwing them down helped.Be prepared to sand/finish or paint door. It is unfinished pine too.Otherwise, pleasant experience and I am happy with the way it turned out. The delay was the absolute worst part.
