Bought for home use. I'm not sure how degradable they are (and I have no plans to test them), but I feel better knowing I've made efforts to be more responsible about landfill. I'm not sure if the extra cost was worth it. I doubted I had green bags but they are much lighter when opened. They seem a bit thicker than other bags I've bought in the past. My only complaint is that I wish the individual buns were smaller. I have a spare caster in the bottom of the bin and when you first use it the casters are huge.
