Review on AUXLIGHT Switchback LED Bulbs 16SMD Chipsets | Parking, DRL and Turn Signal Lights | White/Amber (Pack of 2) by Larkeese Casiano

There are quite a few reviews from people installing them in a variety of vehicles. As far as I know, I'm the only guy who put them in something classy. I fitted them to the built in parking light/turn signal on a '68 Pontiac GTO. I like the look of the white marker lights, but I really like the increased visibility of the amber turn signals. I recently found out that these "reverse" LEDs exist. I opened my lenses and had some trouble fitting them. It's not uncommon to find you fitting parts in places they weren't designed for and I'm used to modifying parts slightly to allow for clearance and a good fit. Just above the "base" of the light node where the heatsink and LED assembly were interfering with my socket and the pins holding them in place. Some light files match well, but they're also a bit longer than standard 1157 bulbs and I could barely put the lens back on. It's probably only 1/8 inch or so from contact with the lens. Installation issues aside, it works great, but it ABSOLUTELY needs a good, solid ground back to the battery. I didn't have a good bottom initially and the switchback function didn't work. that does not work. I was able to get the white marker lights and the amber turn signals separately, but I couldn't turn the white off and turn the amber on and turn the white back on. After making sure I had a good ground, everything worked great. I have no issues with hyper flash or burned out bulb signals when using an electronic turn signal. The white and amber are both very bright and seem to illuminate the Fresnel lens in my car well. I'm a bit concerned about the lifespan of the LEDs, but I'll update if I run into any issues.
