Review on ๐Ÿ’ช Dremel 426 Fiberglass Reinforced Cut-Off Wheels: Precision Cutting Tools for Enhanced Durability and Versatility by Adam Whittaker

Better than a Dremel 420 wheel - very satisfied

I've known about Dremel since they first came out when I was in college as it was a popular tool at the time. However, I have never owned it. Even after 10 years I still didn't have it, but always wanted to have it. Luckily my wife gave me one for Christmas. I had a good idea of how the dremel works but never used it. So it was a surprise when I used it for a grill modification project 2 weeks ago and saw my Dremel 420 cutting discs turn into protrusions. I didn't realize that some of the "tips" have worn down with use. It was a rookie mistake on my part. Looking around I found that Dremel sells 426 fiberglass cut-off wheels which should last longer than 420 wheels and are actually more recommended. While I'm not sure how the fiberglass reinforcement makes them last longer, I can confirm that they definitely last longer. Good product.
