Edit: Light stopped working after 6 weeks. I contacted support and they asked me to send a video of the light not working. Condensation was forming inside the light and since there was "water” inside the light they said the warranty had expired so they would not replace it. So my first was DOA, the second died at 6 weeks and is out of warranty due to condensation. This is an aquarium lamp. So 1 star for bad product design, bad quality and bad customer service. The first one I ordered was dead on arrival and wouldn't turn on. I ordered another one and it took about five days to receive another one. The packaging was fine. Overall it's a decent flashlight for the price, but there are a few things to consider: the instructions aren't very helpful so it was trial and error figuring out how to get the 24 hour feature, but basically that's all I have 24 hour button pressed. and then the button that was closest to the current time. The light should automatically adjust to this window of time and cycle through light from there. The light cycles are really good and give the tank a really cool vibe, especially at night. My only complaint is that the optimal area to illuminate the light strips is smaller than the length of my tank. This gives the right and left ends of the tank slightly reduced lighting. A light bar would probably work better for tanks around 36 inches in length. The lightweight plank itself is only about 34 inches long, with small, thin poles extending from it. The top of my tank is 48 inches long, so the bars flex a bit under the weight of the light bar. I have a medium plastic bar in my tank to support the weight. Not sure if the little metal poles would keep the pole above the water if that central pole wasn't there. So this part seems pretty cheap. Overall a decent light for the price. In hindsight I would probably buy two smaller headlights and install them on both halves of my tank.
