Waste of time and money. These thermal pads were purchased to use when installing a new heatsink and fan in my HP Pavilion dv2911us laptop. These pads were extremely thin - all five combined were less than a quarter the thickness of the original thermal pad I was trying to replace. Second, the adhesive backing was so dense that I couldn't separate the thermal material from the backing without tearing the thermal material. If you're looking to replace a laptop's thick thermal pad, do yourself a favor and buy the right material. from a laptop parts store. If you're putting fresh thermal material on your computer and don't need the thickness, just get some thermal grease.
