Review on 🔌 Powermax PM4 75A 110V AC to 12V DC 75 Amp Power Converter with Advanced 4 Stage Smart Battery Charging System by Marco Cervantes

Ordered this item because it is advertised as a 4-Stage Charger, which in current industry jargon means 4-Stage Intelligence (Automatic) Function . It's not, it's just a 3-stage smart charger, although I haven't physically tested that. If you expect automatic charge level control from this, it won't (according to the manual), but the battery leveling function is essential for battery care and longevity. The manual says "100A and 3-Stage Charge Option" on the front. Inside there is a section called "Description of 4-stage loading option" which is very poorly written. What I can understand from this is that the so-called 4th stage is a switch that you manually access and then set to the desired value using a digital voltmeter. This is of no use if the device is set up in a typical mobile home, as it is usually inaccessible or at best difficult to access. This might work well if you don't need the functionality advertised, but I'm returning it and buying from another seller who clearly implements the auto 4-step feature.
