Addendum to my review: As for the fit, I was a little less happy at first, but based on some other reviews I decided to wait and see. I'm glad I did. I've had this watch for about five weeks now and it's getting more and more accurate as it's broken in. Now their error is maybe less than 5 seconds a day, which means they can advance by a minute in a week or two. That's perfectly acceptable to me, and it can get even better from here. Mechanical watches can rarely match the accuracy of quartz watches (although my Hamilton 992b, one of the finest mechanical pocket watches ever made, is accurate to less than 2 seconds per day). this type is not what you need. But for normal use this watch has a lot to recommend it and has little to no downsides. I have enjoyed carrying a pocket watch with me for many years. I own some very nice vintage watches, including a Hamilton 992b, one of the most beautiful railway watches of all time, which I have worn every day for several years. I also have a couple of nice old Elgins watches that I sometimes carry with me when dressing smarter, but for everyday use I prefer railway watches for their durability and ease of reading. I love my Hamilton but I don't want to overuse it as it's 60 years old so I wanted something I could carry around and not have to worry about. This watch seems to be the best. It has a few features that I love about the Hamilton, including a flat crown and base that are much less prone to damage, as well as large Arabic numerals and a smaller dial with a seconds hand. It's almost the same size as Hamilton, a size 16, although it's thinner. It's easy to read even in low light, and the classic steel blue hands are a real eye-catcher. I really like the finish, the shiny dark metallic gunmetal on stainless steel that feels very solid and I love the fact that it's dark, as does the chain that makes it invisible. In terms of accuracy, I've had the watch for about two weeks and I've found that. The first few days he worked a little fast, a full minute the first day. However, after 3-4 days he was really getting closer and now, after two weeks, he only seems to be adding 5-10 seconds a day. Now it's not as good as my Hamilton which was usually within 1-2 seconds a day but I don't see moves with it. 10 seconds a day or less is perfectly acceptable, especially as this watch is very easy to reset with a retractable stem (Hamilton is a lever mechanism that involves unscrewing the glass, moving a tiny lever to the desired position, resetting the watch, moving back the lever and unscrew the glass a bit like PITA.) My only real complaint about this new watch is the little connector at the end of the chain that attaches to the bail. Watch. While the circuitry is very well done, that little connector was a dead cheap piece of junk, just a slightly bent piece of wire. I wouldn't trust him with a $2 watch. Luckily I have some good watch hinges and have replaced the POS with a good one. They only cost a few dollars. It's hard to believe that Gotham decided to trim that little corner when everything else seems very high quality. All in all a very good watch. I am satisfied with both the quality and the price. Let's see about durability and "lifetime warranty". The time will show.
