I have a 15 year old asphalt road with cracks that are becoming a problem. I've filled them with melted Crack Stix over the years and it was quite a clumsy job with lots of filling and cutting, although the product itself is solid once installed. But I wanted to try a new fusion product and to do that I needed to fill holes in cracks that were already filled, so I bought this cold cast putty knife. It worked surprisingly well and filled in the holes well. I used a stick to smooth it out and got a lot on my hands. The product on my hands was a problem. I tried rinsing it off with water and although some of it came off, the really hard black stuff was exceptionally sticky on my palms and fingers. I then tried some gasoline on a paper towel and it immediately removed the stubborn stuff. So I don't think it's just a latex product, it's a weird mix of water-based base and resinous filler.
