I have owned quite a few drawing tablets, from Wacom and Huion and other brands. I needed a tablet with a bigger screen than 11.6" and while it may just seem like a small difference at first, it ends up being way more than enough to work on bigger or more complex project. As previously stated, I have owned a Huion tablet before, just a simple tablet, no screen and it worked well for simpler jobs. This tablet, which has a very decent screen, feels right from the get-go. No sharp edges, everything is done to give the tablet a smooth and light appearance. The pen is very precise and the fact that it doesn't require batteries is a huge plus. It is shaped like a brush and is very comfortable, with a layer of TPU around the area to hold the pen. The buttons on the pen feel rather wobbly and aren't that useful (at least not to me as I'd rather use shortcut keys). The tablet itself has a nice screen, the image is clear and is true enough in terms of colors to be used for everyday doodling and sketching. I wouldn't use it to send out something that is meant to be printed. That would likely have to go through Photoshop to adjust the colors. The actual drawing is as good as it gets. After calibration and fiddling with the settings, I managed to get the feel of a real pencil or marker. The shortcut keys are on the opposite side of the plugs, which was a very smart choice as I have had a tablet or two with the buttons too close to the plugs which was rather uncomfortable and annoying at times. Connecting the tablet is where Huion scored a touchdown in my opinion. You are given the possiblity to use the tablet either with 2 USB ports and HDMI for the image or go full Type-C and connect it to a (Samsung) phone or tablet or any other Android (or Windows) device which connects through a full featured USB 3.2 Gen 1 port. This makes it possible to take the tablet along in the car or sit down in front of the TV whithout half a dozen cables floating around. The bottom line is this: Huion makes very decent products at the right price point. They're still tailing Wacom, mostly because of the messy companion software and wobbly buttons, but there's no denying that this tablet is meant for graphics designers and aspiring artists. Whichever one you are, give this tablet a shot, it might just be what you are looking for.
