Review on Rugged Ridge Hood Lock Kit for 98-06 Jeep Wrangler TJ: Secure Your Vehicle with Ease by Johnathan Sherman

Tried on my 1999 Wrangler SE. Seems to be made very cheaply. The bracket, which is bolted to the frame to keep the Jeep arm from jerking, is held in place by two thin washers. Getting them tight so they don't pop out was a challenge. Installing it on your jeep was easy but certainly not good. It was hard to grab the latch and lock the jeep. I put it on relatively easily, but it was difficult to take it off. After finally taking it off, I decided not to wear it anymore. I'm afraid that in the future it will become stuck or rust, making it IMPOSSIBLE to remove without cutting it. I will send it back and hope for a better product.
