Bought this heater to replace the one in our dressing room. When I compare my old heater (no longer working) to this one, it heats up more, which is good. My old one had a built in thermostat and I was surprised the new one didn't have it. Apparently they don't care anymore but I bought a plug in thermostat for it and it fixed the problem. The real downside of this product is its smell. I wish I knew beforehand how disgusting that smells. It arrived on a Tuesday and I was busy installing it the following Saturday. If I had known how it stinks I would have taken it out of the box and left it in the garage for a few days to air out. It took about three weeks in the closet for the odor to drop to an acceptable level.
