Performance: I was able to overclock my i5-7600k to 5.0GHz at 1.35V. This cooler keeps temperatures just under 80 under load. It does this with heavily adjusted fan curves to prioritize sound over performance. I assume the temperatures would be lower if I went off the default fan curve. Aesthetics: It's great, to be honest. It's such a step up from anything else at this price point in this department. The aesthetics alone are worth the extra $10 over the Hyper 212 Evo (not to mention the massive performance advantage). Acoustics: As mentioned, I use a significantly lower fan curve to give priority to the acoustics. I can hear him, but he's quiet. When I have something in my headphones, I can't hear anything. The hum isn't aggressive or annoying; In fact, I find it quite comforting at times. I know this may sound ridiculous, but it's true. Price: Roughly speaking, you get a monster for your money, provided it's still worth what I paid for it ($35). I've been using it since March 2017 (June 2017 at the time of writing) and never wanted more given the money spent. Cons: Installation was a huge pain and resulted in me applying thermal paste incorrectly on the first try. . Once you've completed the installation, you don't have to worry about anything else.
