It's a bit sharp and will cut into the plastic ice box.
While this is a very well made spoon, I noticed that shortly after using it to scoop some ice from my plastic basket, small pieces ended up in my drink plastic. At first I thought it might be the ice maker since it's a brand new fridge, but after pouring out the ice and inspecting the bin, I noticed scratches all over the plastic. Needless to say the scoop is a bit sharp and if you use it in a plastic container be careful! Now I have to try something else.
