Received my razor today and am impressed. I started wet shaving with a double edged blade in the 1960's and over the years I've used just about everything known in America for shaving and this Parker 98R impressed me. The fit, finish and knurling of the grip are excellent. This is a good powerful razor with a nice long handle that gives you good control and the weight gets the job done on downward strokes. I have a beard that grows in all directions, so to get a really close shave, I have to shave some areas along and against the mustache, and others across, so control is a must. I've been growing my beard since the Sunday I ordered it and this Thursday he removed the stubble as best he could with a razor, which I also use occasionally. However, I haven't tried the included Shark blades as I've been using Personna blades for years. I can try them later. and if I don't like them, they can always be used for something else.
