    I gave it 5 stars because it does everything it says it does. I'd like a slightly more aggressive shave, but it does the job well.     Unless you already have very light razors I would not recommend this for beginners or those transitioning from cartridge to safety razors. things about this razor. I've been using it for less than a week and it's already become my daily shaver compared to the Merkur 25C.     Received my razor today and am impressed. I started wet shaving with a double edged blade in the 1960's and over the years I've used just about everything known in America for shaving and this Parker 98R impressed me.     I bought this partly because of the weight: when I switched to a safety razor I wanted one with weight. It's heavy, but with a short handle, it's also easy to handle.     I bought this razor after my old razor fell in the shower (no fault of mine) and the head was sheared off by a screw. My old razor had a sleek chrome handle - Edwin Jagger.     Female review: TLDR: Surprisingly long handle but quite aggressive. Get an ADJUSTABLE razor like the Qshave or the Long Handled Merkur if you're a beginner.
