Review on Parker 98R Ultra Heavy Weight Long Handle Double Edge Safety Razor & 5 Blades: Superior Quality for a Flawless Shave by Renee Davis

I bought this razor after my old razor fell in the shower (no fault of mine) and the head was sheared off by a screw. My old razor had a sleek chrome handle - Edwin Jagger. Although I've never had any slippage issues, this razor has a machined handle that holds great and is larger than my previous one. My hand isn't particularly large, but the extra size fits my hand well and the weight makes for a good shave. I have been using a double edge safety razor for 7 years and like many others have said I wish I had known sooner. I can't say anything about the durability, but I would be surprised if I had any problems. Ravage is a beast. The included blades are also durable. A stainless steel nib or aster is typically used, but blade preference seems to vary depending on a variety of factors.
