Bought this to replace my favorite ankle length warm nightgown that was worn to shreds during the COVID quarantine. I especially liked the large hood pocket. After unsuccessfully looking for another sweatshirt material for next winter, I decided to try this blanket sweatshirt. I like her. It's super soft, warm and comfortable and surprisingly doesn't feel "baggy" when worn. It hits the ankles at a height of 5'4". It's very heavy - 2 pounds 14 ounces. (almost 3 pounds!), twice the weight of my old nightgown. In fact, next winter it might be too hard for me to sleep except on the coldest nights, but it's definitely great for lounging around. The inside label says: 100% polyester. The dress had a slight chemical odor that went away after washing. It washed well without losing color (rich blue) and there was almost nothing in the lint catcher. Can be worn inside out - hidden seams are visible on the inside, there is no inside pocket. (The outside pocket is sewn through both layers of fabric.) This dress was a lot cheaper than some others. I don't know how it compares to the more expensive blanket hoodies but I think it's a great value. Update: I bought a second one when it went on sale for under $20, an absolute steal. Another great purchase. This rich anthracite is also beautifully washed. Now I have two to switch to next winter.
