My mom taught me how to wash dishes properly. We have always used these plastic sponges because they stay clean and are the best at removing food residue before the final wash. And they will last a very long time. Like lasting months! These, on the other hand, are practically disposable items. I just got a new one out of the box and it is no longer usable. The same goes for the top ten I've used. I doubt it is very difficult to make them better. Built-in devaluation ? I'll tie the rest with fishing line so they don't fall apart. But I won't buy these again.
