If you have a 3.9 liter, 5.2 liter or 5.9 liter engine with intermittent spatter and judder then most likely this is yours Crankshaft position sensor inoperative. First, it's not a simple plug-n-play job. This sensor is hidden behind the valve cover on the passenger side above the gearbox housing. The braid goes over the transmission and the wire harness goes over the valve cover on the driver's side. This job took me almost 2 hours due to the strange and cramped location. I strongly recommend staying away from all aftermarket gauges for your Mopar as they do not match the voltage ratings specified by Chrysler.
