We decided to try this for my wife's arthritic hand. She has found benefit to using it daily. It is a good idea to get some extra paraffin. Enough seems to evaporate in a few weeks that you need to add more. One caution, the temperature settings on the front are not very accurate. The 60 degree Celsius (140 F) is more like 65 degrees Celsius which is too hot. After warming it up we turn the power off for about 15 minutes and let the temperature come down to about 55 degrees Celsius (130 F). Be sure to use the included thermometer. Otherwise the product is great. The first unit delivered to us was busted up from careless packaging. But Ebay had us a new one in 2 days and honored the return. That is one thing I love about Ebay. The easy returns which are fortunately few and far between.
