Excellent lamp. Lightweight, easy to bend, takes up little space on the surface. It's pretty durable. I've had mine for four years now and I'm not particularly careful with it. I stepped on it lightly once and the base came loose. As you can see from the photos, it fit right away. There are three levels of brightness, and the highest is brighter than you would expect from such a small lamp. We often turn off the electricity because we live in the mountains. It's so bright that when hung on a pot and pan rack, the lamp will light up our entire kitchen. It's so bright I've used it to light up part of our pasture to illuminate deer or other wildlife that may be feeding. .I have also used it in the stable to light up my horse's box. Although it is very bright, it somehow does not hurt your eyes or the animal's eyes as the description says. It's also a handy night light. As you can see in my video, there are many colors to choose from. The slower you move your hand, the more colors become visible. Fun for kids (and some adults). I have two reasons why I can't give it five stars. First I ordered two and one arrived broken. Second, the battery doesn't last as long as other small flashlights I've had. I keep it connected to the network most of the time. Base sensitivity affects battery life. It is easy to accidentally turn on the lamp. This problem is easily solved if you remember to turn off the lamp completely using the switch under the base.
