I gave 5 stars because this product is so cheap for the quality material I received. The haircut is good. I have no problem with stings that irritate my skin (I have sensitive skin) like stinging or rubbing. The inner material is very soft as described. I wear a fitted 7 1/4 cap so not the biggest head. The fit of this mask was perfect for me. At first I was concerned about the baggy head that would allow wind or snow to get into the mask. Went on a mini run recently in -10F weather 10-15 gusts, surprisingly warm. Even though I do winter sports I still don't like the cold lol the mask did the job. Add a skull cap or hoodie, you're definitely good. If you're in sub-zero temperatures and windy outside, make sure to cover your mouth (and/or nose) with the first layer of the mask when wearing it, then layer a second ventilated layer on top. If you don't do this, the nose and mouth area will get cold and ice may form. The neck guard is a good length. For me it covers the upper part of the breastbone. There are no problems. The ventilation is also good. I don't feel like I'm choking etc. Personally I don't think it's worth buying a mask for $20 or more. Unless it was waterproof, bulletproof, indestructible, etc., you get the idea. Some choose super expensive brands because they feel better or because they are sure they will meet their needs. There are exceptions and this is one of them. If you want something good value, great head/face cover, good warmth, well made, not bulky, good fit. This is for you. Ps I am very picky about clothes and clothes, this met my expectations.
