A really good quality mask keeps my head warm in the winter. Not from the area so wasn't expecting this cold so I had to get masks fast. the only thing i don't like is the mouth and nose breathable part, if only fleece, polyester or any other material is used there, it gets wet and cold quickly.

I've never had a balaclava so I have no comparison. I'm a woman, if that matters, and my nose keeps falling off, even though I identify as a big-nosed person! I was hoping that my glasses wouldn't fog up, but it didn't work. Part of the chin also appears odd. As if it doesn't hit me in the right place? The quality seems to be very good. It's definitely warm. I've worn it on skis and was glad to have it.

It's nice to put on a mask when playing airsoft in the cold. The only problem is that my breath fogs up my glasses. The mesh on this balaclava helps me breathe, but it still fogs up my glasses over time. Unlike face towels and other balaclavas, this one is stable when I put on the fan glasses, which is very important. It also hides my doughy white face. All dark green and coyote + zero movement = invisibility.

I gave 5 stars because this product is so cheap for the quality material I received. The haircut is good. I have no problem with stings that irritate my skin (I have sensitive skin) like stinging or rubbing. The inner material is very soft as described. I wear a fitted 7 1/4 cap so not the biggest head.
