Great timer! I like how it works, I like its features, it works very well! Good, clear instructions. The plastic case makes a solid impression. Very clear presentation. Counting: So far I've mainly used the counting part. That works great. During the countdown, the LED does not work. Countdown: I find a bright green LED OK, even desirable, but others may not have it. When the time is up, it turns red. It uses two AAA alkaline batteries. I tried two NiMH elements and it worked. The viewing angle of the display has narrowed a bit and the beep is quieter in my opinion. Also, on a battery change, I stopped the time, changed the batteries and he didn't waste any time! Please note that the alarm clock is on the back for better hearing if there is a gap behind. The magnetic material is strongly magnetized. but the magnets are recessed a little so the magnetic field is a little less to keep it in place. He was able to hold on to the steel door. The modest movable tripod leg is comfortable to the touch and convenient to use. For my application I need a little more stability when clicking certain buttons. I would add a stick option with magnets or rubber legs to the kit. For desktop use, rubber feet would help keep it in place. I would make the LEDs switchable, in-circuit or out-of-circuit. I think they are a bit bright for some uses. I would add the ability to use LEDs during the countdown. I really like this timer too.
