Review on 🔨 Galvanized Steel Pegboard Wall Control System by Eric Temple

I live in an apartment building where there isn't much storage space in the kitchen, which is a good thing. I have a habit of buying a lot of kitchen appliances. I saw photos of Julia Child's kitchen and thought, 'well, those perforated panels look really nice' and decided that one day I would do the same. Then I realized I have a wall to hang pots and pans on. However, since my kit is very heavy, I didn't want to use thick cardboard pads - I certainly felt it was safer to use metal pads. So I bought four of these and put them in two rows of two against the wall. Installation required two people - one in place, the other drilled holes/nails. A skilled person could probably do it without help, but I'm small and I don't feel well either. By using anchors and making sure there were at least two holes in the cleats these boards held up well! I wasn't afraid that they would detach from the wall. I've since moved to another apartment in the same building. The new apartment has more storage cabinets and more countertop space, but the cabinet I used as a pantry didn't fit in the cabinet in the new apartment, so I have to put all my groceries in the cabinets and my glasses in the cabinets . I only have one closet. This means that the pots and pans still have to stand against the wall. This time I was only able to hang three of the four perforated panels as I'm small and don't want to stand on a step stool. Luckily this time the center screws were drilled into the cement column behind the wall so there is plenty of support there. The only downside is that the thin metal means you run the risk of cutting your fingers/hands if you hold on too tight. tight and it slides and they scratch the wall pretty easily depending on your paint. My building uses paint that scratches very easily, which is annoying. I love how they look on my wall with pots and pans!
