Review on ViewSonic VX2478 SMHD Frameless Widescreen DisplayPort 2560X1440P: 🖥️ An Immersive Visual Experience with Anti Glare and IPS Technology by Jpeg Tallie

Bought two of these for my wife's home office as I have been using the VX2457-MHD successfully in my own office for many years. The setup was very basic, but overall the bezel/surroundings weren't as matte/polished as the photos show. The bigger issue that has led to her imminent return is the viewing angle. My wife likes it when her monitors are "flatter" than "angled" to hers. Although everything is set to the recommended specs (2560 x 1440 @ 60Hz), the overall appearance degrades very quickly unless you are working *directly* with the monitor. When you look at a 20 degree angle, it almost looks like there is a poor quality privacy film, the softness of the graphics is so striking. But frankly, this is an amazing monitor. YMMV.
