It's ok for the price (I have an Edwin Jagger DE89 and a badger brush and it holds it very well). Another reviewer said that the holders were completely flat, and to be honest they almost are (they have a very SMALL curve). The stand's packaging was damaged before being transferred to another bag which was placed in another box with several other items (no other item had the slightest flaw, I know that!) but thank goodness no scratch on the bottom of the holder and invisible. Result: It will work fine.
