There were a few issues at first such as removing and adjusting the remote battery to make it work and understanding that the remote needs to be close to the sensor to work properly, but still It's better than searching for a cord for the built in switch and tapping it multiple times to get the brightness or shade you want and exposing your fish to a light show every time you turn the light on or off, since all your individual light functions (turning on the brightness color) are instantly at your fingertips. I put suction cups on the underside of the gas cap where the burned out factory LED used to be. It kept falling off for the first few days and I wanted to stick it back on, but the last time I stuck it to the composite plastic cover it stayed. It's been a month now and it's only come loose once which as a waterproof dive light isn't a problem. Overall I am very happy with this product and will likely purchase more to replace the headlights on my other tanks. My only suggestion to the manufacturer is that a brightness level or two in color mode would be a plus, but it's bright enough, especially on white.
