I hesitated to buy this blanket for a long time. The photo looked so beautiful. I then read the reviews and was afraid I would be disappointed when I got it, especially for the price. In the end I took the risk and ordered it. Here's a summary of it: - It's not as fat as the picture shows - It's a lot flatter - I have two bulldogs that sleep with me every night. Their paw pads are like bands of sandpaper. They love digging into blankets to make their beds. Despite all this taunting, the ceiling did not tear. Which surprises me as the fabric seems very thin. However, the fabric rolls up like a mofo. You know those little clumps of lint or tissues or something? Yes, there are a TON of them now. - Withstands machine washing - at least for delicate fabrics. - I have it and I've been using it regularly for quite some time and it's still alive. I'd say a good price for this is somewhere between $89-$99 for a king size - as far as I can tell they usually charge double the price. If you can't get one of these for the price above - skip it - it's not as pretty as the photo and not the same quality. But it's not bad at all.
