Will not fit standard US interior doors

This product works but requires a little more effort than expected. I took it out of the box and it came pre-assembled and seemingly ready to use. However, after installing it on the closet door, I noticed that the depth of the hooks that go over the door is too deep. too big), but I measured mine and it was closer to 1.75". The hooks are either still sticking out 1/3" outside the door or there is a 1/3" gap in the door between the door and the hook II Recommend the first one (1/3 inch outside) - - it's not as aesthetically pleasing but offers a tighter fit inside.
