Review on Wellue DUOEK-S EKG Monitor: Record ECG, Heart Rate & Detect Irregular Heartbeat by Smiley Edwards

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Portable ECG/ECG Monitor Lightweight and easy to carry

Wellue DuoEK-S is an easy to use and easy to carry ECG/ECG monitor that weighs less than 30 grams. The battery can take at least 500 measurements on a single charge, and the device has enough memory for 10 measurements under a minute or 4 measurements lasting five minutes. The data does not have to be synchronized with the mobile phone, but as soon as the memory is full, the oldest measurement is automatically deleted. When synchronizing data with a mobile phone via the ViHealth app, all data is transferred to the mobile phone and the data is deleted from the device. A mobile phone can store as many measurements as there is free space on the phone, and this will be many measurements. The device can measure leads I, leads II and chest leads. The device must measure for at least 30 seconds to determine whether it detects a regular or irregular heartbeat. The maximum measurement time is five minutes. If you want to see how the device responds to an irregular heartbeat, place a second finger on one of the electrodes and then remove it. Using the device is very simple. There are no buttons or switches. But there's a handy OLED display that shows the ECG/EKG waveform, heartbeats per minute, and measurement progress (progress is shown for up to 30 seconds and up to five minutes). The display shows if the measurement lasted less than 30 seconds, and if the measurement is 30 seconds or more, the device analyzes the results and indicates a regular or irregular heartbeat. During the measurement, the buzzer displays your heartbeat. The volume of the buzzer is very low and will not disturb others. After the measurement, the data can be transferred to a mobile phone. A history of all measurements is available and all measurements can be created in PDF format and printed out, emailed or otherwise shared with your healthcare provider. The only thing stopping me from giving the DuoEK S five stars. is that the ViHealth app does not share any data with the Apple Health app. Wellue has told me this is planned for a future release and I will update my review then.
