These Wsdcam door and window alarms turn the simple concept of a magnetic sensor alarm into a useful tool for home security. They are easy to install and it took me less than 15 minutes to install two of these alarms. I mounted these alarms onto the front and back door of my home. Before I installed these alarms on my doors, I wiped the frame and door surfaces with alcohol and a rag to be able to get a lasting adhesion from the sticky pad. The alarms have different chime modes that are all loud enough for me to hear from anywhere in my home, and that is a feature I love. However, it would be more helpful and user-friendly if the mode-switching was clearly labeled or easier to perform. Overall, this is an inexpensive complement to my current home security system, and this product would also provide additional peace-of-mind for child safety.
