Handles small problems very well.

The camera works better than expected, but there are some issues. Incredibly easy to install on either end. I mounted mine on a top roof rack and reversed the screen view from the front. Mine lasted several weeks on the extended 90 second mode on a nightly charge. There are options to adjust the guides or remove them. I'm not sure how accurate they are, but I find them useful. The camera works fine but the sun has discolored the camera tube, now it looks like copper paint except the other end where the lens is is still black. The screen is simply attached to the windshield from the front. The suction cup is foldable and the ankle can be tightened. It really fell off the first few times, but haven't had any problems since. I later added a solar panel that was out of stock due to supply chain issues. The wiki was very helpful with quick email replies to my questions. The solar panel comes with double sided tape but I chose my own soft magnets and mounted it on the roof rack above the sun facing camera. I plan to take it off in the winter and replace it with the original cap. For reference, the solar panel uses mini USB so it might work for some of your portable power supplies as long as they are thin enough. The cable is right-angled, which limits its use for anything other than its intended purpose. Night vision is bright, but there are some issues at dusk. The camera seems to struggle between modes in this twilight. The problem was solved as soon as I went outside, but at first I was concerned. Overall I'm happy with the quality and ease of installation. The camera is activated when the ignition key is turned and does not drain the battery connected to the network when the car is parked. However, you need to press the button at other times. I catch myself hitting the camera button as I stop to see what's happening behind me. Nice device, I recommend.
