Did what I needed for power tools and hand tools

I bought this because I was building a custom shelving unit but didn't want to damage the wall decor in my rental apartment. The sensor makes it easy to measure and draw the exact shape of the surface. You can see the results in the photos. Also very useful when you need to cut tiles around pipes or other unnecessary objects. I expect this will be useful for all kinds of projects. I've seen metal versions of these but I think this one is actually better in terms of shape retention.
