Review on EZ EZ 104 Oil Drain Valve by Steve Linquist

Revainrating 5 out of 5

EZ-104 makes changing CTD oil TOO EASY

Purchased to use on a 2014 Ram 3500 with a Cummins Turbocharged Diesel engine. Works perfectly. It includes a gasket and is very easy to install. Once upon a time, don't worry about it. It doesn't open by itself and doesn't stick out too far. As another review says, it's right behind the axle so it will take a long time to hit. This made draining the engine too easy. Use with the EZ-H001 and a Home Depot 3.5 gallon pail with a Gamma Seal lid. Plug the short hose onto the H001, screw it onto the EZ-104, remove the top from the bucket and slide it in, then open the EZ-104. Wait until the dripping stops, close the EZ-104 valve and unscrew H001. Pull out the bucket, cover with a lid and take to an auto parts store to drain the oil. To access the oil filter from the side, use a REAL 1 gallon ziplock bag and lower while unscrewing. Close the bag and pull it out to the side. Genuine ZipLoc freezer bags are thick enough not to tear when pulled out from the side. There is absolutely NO oil spillage with this method.
