I bought this HP laptop because my old one had just become obsolete. I got HP because I'm comfortable with it and don't need to learn new quirks. I don't play a lot of games but this laptop does a great job. It has the speed and versatility to handle all tasks well for casual users. Very easy to set up. It wasn't loaded with many viruses. Looks good and the screen is great. I can upgrade to 12 or 16GB RAM which looks easy. I like the backlit keyboard, although I had to go into bios and increase the timeout. The battery is probably the biggest problem with this laptop [and probably most HP's], it just doesn't last very long. I've even tried my best to "run" it according to HP's suggestions, but it's still not enough. I usually leave it plugged in though, so it's not a problem for me. just know All in all a good, easy to use, versatile and lightweight gaming laptop. Not cheap, but serious gamers should probably look higher. It is good for me.
