I was really looking forward to this. I was really hoping it would be strong and mix well. We planned to place this in the children's room for decoration, room attraction, cat attraction and hiding this tray. When she conceived her mother, she was disappointed. Came without instructions. It doesn't matter, it's pretty easy to assemble. However, it is made of semi-thin plastic. When we put the top on the bottom - shall we say, things didn't go as planned. The top eventually fits, but only 3 plastic tabs on the bottom stick out to hold the top - it doesn't hold up well. We had to pick it up 4 times before it stayed. We then had to bang it together pretty hard to keep it going. Then we tried to bring it inside and it fell apart again. I can't imagine doing this every time I need to clean the tray. That would upset me greatly. I also see it falling apart between cleanings. Cats love greenery, decorative moss was a lure for our curious cat. Love the idea of having a charcoal filter on top to help with odors. This was an attractive selling point. So the plan is to keep this item as a cat shelter. Glue the top to the bottom with super glue or hot glue. Then we don't take it apart. Throw in some linens and maybe some pretty beads scattered around the edges of the entryway and the cats will love their new home.
