We were SO impressed with how easy this bed was to put together and were pleasantly surprised by how rich/interesting the metal color was (see photos in natural light - it has an almost burgundy sheen in the light, but it’s not too overwhelming; just a lot of richness/depth!). Only took us about 25-30 minutes to assemble with two people, and passed our "jump into the bed” and "two people sitting/laying down” test. Doesn’t feel creaky or unsteady—very solid so far. Also appreciated that all the bags of screws came with one or two extra, just in case. :)
