The torque converter is an important improvement over the centrifugal clutch. The price of the goods is acceptable and the quality is excellent at first glance. Still on the first belt and it has no measurable signs of wear. I bought a set of Blackhorse Racing 203589 belts to see if they would fit and work well. The operation so far has been very good. The drive pulley (front) clicks and jingles like crazy while the weights inside do their thing, but it works flawlessly. Aside from the noise inherent in the design, it's great. Proper installation and alignment is essential. Loctite is your friend. If something doesn't work properly, it's because you attached it the wrong way round.
