So I bought 2 colors, black and ivory and here’s the thing, If you buy one of these skirts, realistically, they’re not enough layers to create the same look as the photo, but if you buy 3 to 4 skirts and layer them on top of each other, you get this! A large fluffy skirt that can be used for a 1950’s style dress if you wish.
I had to steam each layer of every skirt, sew each one together by hand while stretching the elastic(hard to fit all that tulle into a sewing machine), and cut off the excess lining and such(don’t trim too much off the hem or you’ll ruin it) but it’s okay; It’s a lot of work and if they’d sewn a skirt like this in the factory, it would have cost about the same as buying 4 of them so really it’s just a "you gotta pay more to get more” situation. One skirt is good for an "everyday” look but to really get that whimsical elegant look, you need to buy 4.
