I bought this because I always go into data centers and hate to look or just HOPE there is an emergency truck lying around or that the customer has a KVM in a rack. It fits easily in my laptop bag and carries me around on the truck or plane. And if, like me, you have a 15-foot USB cable, you can sit in the hot aisle instead of the cold one. You data center monkeys will know what I'm talking about. But it works exactly as advertised. You'll see everything from POST on everything from desktops to HP G9 servers. worth the money. It also seems durable. Powerful. But I still treat him like a kid just because he's so expensive. Fair warning though. On Windows 8 or newer they don't have signed drivers yet, so you need to boot into recovery mode and disable driver signing in the operating system, then the drivers will load and work properly. It works until you reboot. So if you just put your laptop to sleep, you should be fine. Keep this in mind if you think yours isn't working on Windows 8/10. Once the drivers are loaded for the first time, they don't need to be reloaded, but the USB device will not be found until you disable driver signing in the operating system. Other than that, it's probably the best tool in my bag. . Then it loads the drivers and works fine. It works until you reboot. So if you just put your laptop to sleep, you should be fine.
