Given the low price, I expected disappointment. These pillowcases are really good. All patterns are either appliquéd or embroidered except for the satin bow. My pillows have a medium dark pattern and the 100% polyester fabric is heavy enough not to show through. The fabric feels a little stiff, like jeans that have been line dried. I have not tested the color fastness of the fabric but the label says to wash before use. My furniture is dark so I wasn't worried. The crates were packed so that the white crates did not touch the red or brown crates. Concealed zips and colour-coordinated with each pillow. fiberfill. I folded the pillow in half to put it in the case. I held the fold to the front of the case and let the two ends face the back. This way the smoothest part of the pillow is facing forward, so no lumps or bulges are visible when the pillow is folded. Since the covers are slightly curved and not square, I had to adjust the pillow a bit to make sure everything was right is corners have been filled. When zipping, I attached the fabric to reduce the stress on the pillow. Zipper My covered pillows look plump and smooth.
