This worked great for me but for ALL SAFETY QUESTIONS THE CLAMPS ARE CLAMPS AND ATTACH TO THE TOP OF THE CAGE LID OR IT MAY FIRE. YOU ARE 100% SAFE IF USED CORRECTLY. and that goes for any reptile that needs to be kept warm and alive by these artificial lights.
