As other reviewers have stated, these smell overwhelmingly of super glue when you open the box. It's been a week and the smell has dissipated somewhat, but I'm not sure if the smell will ever fully go away. I ordered the brown color in a size 9. I normally wear an 8 or 8.5, and I think I would have been better off ordering an 8. These seem to fit true to size or a half size too big. I will have to wear thick socks so these will fit snug.The brown is more like a grey-brown color, which I like. The faux fur trim and laces are more of an actual brown color. These are very easy to put on. The laces untie and tie very quickly and the tongue pulls out far so you can easily slip your feet in and out. The laces are very long and you can easily tuck pants into the boots. The downside is that you can't tie the boots snugly. I really like that the fur lining goes all the way down into the boot. To me, these seem more like fashion boots as opposed to outdoor boots. I mean, they look outdoorsy and the traction is good, but I don't think the functionality is there due to the fit. I don't think these will hold up in tough conditions. I don't like that the tag says the suggested retail price is $99.99. Not only is the text pixelated and looks crappy, I don't think that price is an accurate representation of the quality of the product.As for comfort, they are very warm. I think they would be comfortable if they fit properly. I have wide feet and they fit well in these width-wise. The boots slide around on my feet a lot. Because of the design, it's impossible to tie the laces tight to get a tighter fit, so my feet are lifting an inch or two out of the boot with each step. I feel like even if I had a smaller size, this would still be a problem due to the design. If you're going to get these, I recommend getting a half size smaller so they fit more snugly. I definitely don't recommend these as a hiking boot or anything like that. If you're just looking for something sturdy enough to slip your fit in real quick to go get the mail in cold or rainy weather, these are great.
