I was looking for a simple low reading hygrometer in our house as I use a dehumidifier there to keep the humidity low and I want to know that it actually works. This article was just a ticket. It works great. Using a AAA battery (included) I was able to figure out how to set the time on this hygrometer without reading the instructions. You may be wondering why there is time for this. Well, it doubles as a clock and even an alarm if you want to use it as such. I'm not sure why I would want to use it as an alarm though, but it's still handy to see the time on it. read at a distance. The fold-out stand on the back of the hygrometer allows you to lean the stand against a table or shelf like a photo frame instead of hanging it on the wall, although there is a hanging hole on the back of the hygrometer. it on the wall if you prefer. The worst thing about this item is the flashy "FavorCOOL" branding that adorns the front of the device. I'm not sure if anyone really wants this on the front of their device, but I won't deduct the star rating for it. Finally, the current price of $9.99 is very fair and reasonable.
