Companies that sell collapsible backgrounds also include coasters. Key to the system is the little clip that holds the stand's backdrop, as the stands they include get the job done but are a little flimsy and are one trick ponies. I prefer these adapter clips so I can use my existing stands if I want without having to carry around a dedicated backdrop stand. They appear to be quite well made (although the thumbscrew is a bit loose) and fit the bill. I'm leaving a 4 star rating as they haven't been used enough to tell if they last or not.
