When I received the headlight I immediately tried the magnet. This was my big concern based on other reviews. Either the other reviewers didn't use metal, or the company took the magnet's negative reviews seriously and fixed it. Seriously, I wasn't sure I could take it off without breaking something. I'm a commercial landscaper and was just about to try this on one of my zero curves and it's amazing. The light is bright and does not wobble. My only negative and I didn't bother to write a review because it's an amazing product, there are some difficulties putting the handle on the light. Unless other buyers have asked this question, I wouldn't say the rubber plugs need to be removed to insert the screws. It is best to use a small nail instead of a screwdriver. It's not obvious. Overall an EXCELLENT product and recommended for a variety of purposes.
