I have used the flashlight continuously for over 3 hours after receiving it. Casting a wide beam worked great. The magnetic mount is pretty strong, but I don't think I'll try it on a moving car. The magnetic mount is great for getting the light to where you work around the car. In my case I flipped it forward to work with that light plus headlights and then flipped it to load onto the back of a pickup truck.

I use the light on my garden tractor, it works well. The light is quite bright and the main magnet is strong. Assembly was a little fiddly and the first item had to be returned as the handle broke when I installed it with the Allen key provided. All in all a good torch, suitable as a work light for tractors or whatever with a 12v cigarette lighter socket. The length of the power cord is adequate but I would have liked a few more meters.

I think this is a good light for the money, it's bright and it does the job! I read some of the reviews before buying and some people say the magnet wasn't that strong. Well, if you try to attach it to a thin sheet of metal like the center of your roof, then you might run into it. But that goes for any magnet, the more metal, the stronger it holds. I used this unit once and found that the strain relief sleeve on the power cord was broken. I've tried putting it back in place but to no avail; it kept coming out. No glue is used and there is no lip on the body to match the lip of the sleeve. All that holds the jack in place is the friction between the jack and the metal case; As far as I can tell, it can't be securely fastened. When I received the headlight I immediately tried the magnet. This was my big concern based on other reviews. Either the other reviewers didn't use metal, or the company took the magnet's negative reviews seriously and fixed it. Seriously, I wasn't sure I could take it off without breaking something. DO NOT BUY! This light worked great the first time I used it and showed everyone it was on for maybe 30 seconds. The second time was a few weeks later, I plugged it in and flipped the switch to turn it on. The light came on and then went out, never to work again. If you're willing to shell out $30+ for a light that works great for 60 seconds, if you're lucky, this is your light. It was installed/removed as needed on the front bumper of a 50" ATV for night riding using the supplied magnetic base and also taped a coiled power cord which lightweight and extends across the front deck, under half of the windshield to the 12V cigarette lighter socket. I installed it today when it got dark. I live in an RV and our community uses the 'new' LED bulbs but they are pretty dim. The lamps are about 12 feet high and even these lamps are quite dim.
